It's been two years - Retro Meme

Two years ago, for some reason I felt really bored, I remember myself sitting in our apartment in Chatham, browsing away, I just finished my novel, and since then I had nothing to do in the evenings. Then I came across a few blogs and I thought I could do that too.

My spoken English was pretty good, but my writing was a bit awful, and after five minutes of considerations, I swiftly decided to start my own blog, where I would write in English only. I did not know what am I going to write about, but never the less, I believed that regardless of what I write as long as it is in English, my writing skills would improve over time. I was right. Now two years later, I am still here, still writing - never quite knowing what to write about.

I was kindly tagged by Richard to do this meme and I think the timing is very appropriate. As my blog is celebrating two year birthday it is the time to look back and see what I have been up to.

The Rules of the Meme

1. Post 5 links to 5 of your previously written posts. The posts have to relate to the 5 keywords given below:

2. Tag 5 other friends to do this meme. Try to tag at least 2 new acquaintances (if not, your current blog buddies will do) so that you get to know them each a little bit better.

3. Don’t forget to read the archived post and leave comments. (I would assume read the archived posts of the person who tagged you, and the persons you tagged)

I tag Kim, Lotus, Tomas, CW and B.

The way I blog is just the way I truly am, disorganised, honest and irregular, but always with a good intention. My memory must be pretty bad because I had to use the search box to find appropriate posts.

Happy Birthday Around The World In Beautiful Shoes!

Because of this rather special occasion today I am going to post my most recent short story. All the comments will be very much appreciated, and any advice to what magazines I should send it will be treasured.

Thanks for playing. They were wonderful and powerful reads.

As a side not, I do not wear hats - except in Winter if I am going to be outside for any length of time (and then it is just a simple woollen hat. I always prefer my coat have hood so I can pull them on should I get stuck somewhere without a hat and be in need of one.

Happy blogiversary!
