Expat - blog

Today I discovered a website that is dedicated to the expats. Well, I thought it is a perfect place to advertise myself (by that I mean my blog) in the expat blog directory, surely I fit into the expat terms!
I am Lithuanian who left her “homeland” (that word gives me shivers) moved to France for three months but got stuck in there for six months instead! Then I bumped into my wonderful Englishman in Champs Elysées who took me to my dream-country-Great Britain and one year later married me! After two and a half years there, we decided to go to France together. Eat croissants and listen to Edith Piaf.
So here I am in France again writing and trying to become a serious-money-earning-writer someday, and I do not know how to describe my blog in few words! I am soar-ing my throat by trying to speak proper French, and wearing my eyes out practising my French reading skills! And when it comes to describing my blog in few words I don’t know what to say!
I shouldn’t dare to call myself a writer at any point of my life. I have no ability to think in short sentences!
Elaborating is the thing I do.
And I look on that expat blog directory and I feel furious! How come after nearly sixteen years of studying English language I can not write a one good sentence to describe my blog! I guess I am having a crisis here!
So dear reader if you are still reading this can you please offer me some ideas! I wanted to bring more traffic into my blog, I though I would find it exciting! But then who would want to read about some Lithuanian twenty something’s (not even yet!) experiences abroad! OK I could be a bit too critical to myself here, no disrespect to you my dear (and beloved) reader. I guess I’ll wait for some offers and in the meantime try to learn the whole of the Chambers Dictionary which is a size of doorstep! I guess my aggression levels are a bit high these days, I can not finish any of my written works before my birthday which I promised to myself to do. It all will calm down in few days. Then I can go back to my “bubble” dreaming about shoe-shopping in Paris or London (depending on the mood). So offers, descriptions, anyone?

Just in case if you want to see the site I was talking about look here: http://www.expat-blog.com/

I guess the best thing to do, is leave comments a bit of everywhere, then they click on you and tada, magically get transported to your dreamland:) The first time I saw your blog, was by your comment on pumpkin pie, what you said was soo sweet and touching, and then I started reading and was hooked:)

I love your blog, your writing is fantastic, and your english is perfect!!

Kim, I wonder what did I say on Pumpkin's blog!!!
Thank you for your compliments! Because it's rainy and miserable today I dedicate this Monday for writing! I guess I'll spend a lot of time in front of my puter until it stops raining!

it was the one about pumpkins post about her daughter and you were saying that you did not have paypal and was lacking money this month, but would send a check as soon as you could:) it was just such a sweet comment!:0
btw, maybe you should post about the bullying stuff you had to go through, if you get it all down on paper, and let it go in blogworld, you can set it free, and then be free to go to university:) just a thought:)
