It was a gift card for a bookshop! I never had such a lovely present in my life, that ended up taking the shape of 7 books. I always considered gift cards as rude gifts, but had you seen me in the book shop, I was like a kid in a sweet shop, I could not pick enough as I wanted all the books. I know it is a long time since Yule season ended, but it is exactly today that I am going to start reading one of those amazing books I picked out...The person who gave me the gift, kept inquiring for a while, and it took me a while to egt round to choosing the books, but as one of the kids at school recently told me that there is a sale in that particular shop, I realised it is my moment to get as many books as I desire. Graham had a cup of coffee as a treat for going with me, and I myself had a full hour of playing with books. Picking one up, putting another down, going biserk, not knowing what to do! What a treat! I love books.

As long as the gift card is for a store you really, really like, then it works out.
Though, I still prefer personally selected gift, which shows the person actually thought about you.
