Ambrose Bierce's Devil's Dictionary has a number of wonderful definitions.
Here is another you might like, it is attributed to Ernest Renan "A nation is a group of people united by a mistaken view about the past and a hatred of their neighbors"
The best thing about the dictionary is that it's not only funny but also very true... And even though of it's age, one can apply most definitions even today!
