I'm guessing you are back in the UK. I think you will find it better there. I moved from UK to France 5 years ago and I wish I hadn't. Everything is so much more difficult here, especially finding decent-paying work (or any work). Another year and I'm out of here.
Well actually I am still in France and I have received the modem from AOL all I need now is the confirmation letter... This country is so bloody slow!
But yes work wise it is million times easier in the UK. I once got a job in one day!
