Me buying Oranges

I believe that Orange is the Apple of the South. The fruit itself is not only tasty but full of vitamin C and potassium what a great why to make my diet healthier. It is indeed my favourite fruit to eat while in Spain, and I absolutely love staring at the Orange trees while traveling in the car.

This photo has been taken on the first day in Spain. I dreamed of buying Oranges so long that I didn't even notice my husband taking picture of me, and therefore (for a change) I am not posing!

Fortunately enough I was lucky enough to end up in Valencia region while in Spain that is absolutely covered with fruit trees. I was happy to see for the first time in my life the Olive tree, the tree wrapped in stories, ancient legends and mistery. Olive is another fruit to be a great part of my diet while in Spain.

I am taking a great pleasure of enjoying all the fresh fruit, vegetables and sea food as we are aslo close to the coast. Even though I know very little of Spanish cuisine, believe me once I crack my Spanish language barrier the first book I'll purchase in Spanish will be a cookery book. After all this is the land of paella, sangria and many many other culinary miracles!

I am falling in love with Spain so fast that I don't know if there will be anyone to catch me once I do eventually fall!

I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying Spain. It sounds lovely...all those orange and olive trees can't hurt! :)

For so long, I really disregarded Spain when I thought of travelling to Europe. But aside from France, I've actually become increasingly interested in visiting Spain, perhaps even more so than Italy (which I never thought I'd say).

I have no doubt you'll be speaking Spanish as beautifully as possible in no time! And feel free to pass on any great Sangria recipes my way.

I am deffinitely loving Spain, and all those trees they are absolutely gorgeous!

Spain is a wonderful place and you'll have to come over some time, the architecture is so beautiful and in certain places so strongly influenced by the moors.

As soon as I learn to make good Sangria you'll be the first one to know the recipe!!!

Once I have a home here you're booking a ticket to come over.

As for the language it could take me a year or maybe less if I'm lucky... :)
