21 Things + The Famous Schedule

S o here is the list of the 21 things that I was talking about.

1. Get up in the morning (that means before noon local time).
2. DO the housework!
3. Not let the ironing pile to grow higher than 20cm (it is approx. 150cm right now)
4. Write everyday for my blog.
5. Write and translate my works everyday as well.
6. Read one book (either in English, French or any other language that I’ll decide to learn)
7. Go for a walk when I have energy to do so (and always carry my camera with me!).
8. Not to drive faster than the local speed limit.
9. But learn to drive round the sharp bend in fifth gear like my husband does.
10. Get my driving licence changed (I passed my test 6months ago and I’m still with learner’s license!)
11. Get my office finished by the end of the summer (before that the bedroom and living/dinning rooms have to be done)
12. Get the clock that my father gave to us (my husband and I) as a wedding present FIXED.
13. Make a dress out of the material that has been in my draw for nearly two years.
14. Knit that scarf that I promised to my husband three years ago.
15. Reply to all the e-mails I received within 24hours.
16. Get myself a mobile phone chip (I’ve got this pink phone and if I don’t use it now it’s going to be old soon)
17. Use moisturizing cream everyday (my face and hands need it urgently)
18. Apply at least a little make up and wear perfume everyday.
19. Learn to ride a horse.
20. Learn to ski.
21. Realize I am 21 and start acting like a grown up! And not like this:

The famous schedule:

8:30 Get up.
8:30-9:00 Get clean and dressed
9:00-9:30 Get the bread and other things required for breakfast in Sarrincolin
9:30-10:30 Breakfast
10:30-13:30 Housework (with cigarette and check e-mail breaks)
13:30-14:30 Go for a walk with Charlie (if I have energy left and if Charlie feels like it)
14:30 – 16:30 Help my husband with whatever he needs to be done.
16:30-17:00 Be lazy ( a possibility of relaxing and reading a book)
17:00-18:00 Cook the dinner (Includes feeding the dog)
18:00-19:00 Eat the dinner
19:00-19:30 Clear up the mess made during cooking and eating the dinner.
19:30-… Free time to do whatever I want (i.e. write, read, be lazy)

That’s it! And today I managed to follow the schedule. I was a bit tired and got a headache (over organization is bad for me!).

I am actually very tired but I think if I follow the schedule for a week the house will get spotless and I won’t need to do the housework three hours a day, hopefully that will give me more time to write.

And now I must admit I am tired and I have no energy or enthusiasm left to start translating my book. I will have to slow down tomorrow.
By the way the 10 new English words I learned today are:
Aperture
Hog
Mollusc and Mollusca
Asphyxiate
Mewl
Demarcation
Inning
Portcullis
Battenberg, Battenburg or Battonberg
Habitual.

Not all of them are big and impressive but all of them are new to me.
Good night.

I love the lollipop photo...and all the pink. Isn't pink wonderful? Well, I'm glad you made it through your first day of the famous schedule. I'm sure you are exhausted. Overly rigid schedules definitely have the potential to give me a headache as well!

I really like making lists of things I want to accomplish and not just tasks, but those things that are meaningful to us. Your list is wonderful. I was excited to see that you want to learn to ride a horse. I've always been in awe of horses and I did take brief riding lessons in college. Horses are such amazing creatures. It is interesting because I've been really wanting to go riding lately.

Hope the schedule gets easier and you are still able to enjoy lots of reading and writing.

Oh, and your teddy bear is absolutely the cutest one I've ever seen!

Routine is death to me, I applaude you for trying to stick to a schedule! I would have to throw the schedule in a hat and pull out what to do at each hour:)

I LOVE the picture of you! It looks like you had a great day! Very happy day!

Goodness, I don't even know half the words on your list! Portcullis? Mewl? Maybe you should post the meanings as well?

Your schedule sounds very nice and I love your list of things to do. However, don't be in too much of a hurry to grow up too fast. Youth is so fleeting already. I'm going on 32 and still trying to avoid being too much of an adult

Breal, I love pink. I own not only pink clothes but pink shoes and handbags as well! I could have everything and anything in pink including lollipops, ice cream, jelly etc! The schedule is still alright. Slight adjustments are taking place but I am keeping up, trying to be strong! I never did such thing as listing things I want to do or doing schedule so it is pretty new to me and I want to keep up!
The Teddy bear comes from the flea market! I am still looking for a name for him as it's got to be in French! Horses... All my life I wanted to learn to ride, but I am afraid of hights, but this is it I am doing it this summer! (Hopefully one day we could go horse riding together!)
Kim, routine is death to me too, that's why my schedule includes specialized days(when I concentrate on something in particular to break the routine). I know I will fall out of it for a change sometimes, but I am one of those people, that if I do not have a system I become lazy dirty cow. I don't want to be that!
The day was really really happy! I had so much fun!
La Page Française, well I had an idea in mind that at the end of the month I should list on my blog all the words I learned, if you think it's a good idea please let me know I could add the meanings as well!
You are right about growing up, I just HATE when my husband acuses me of being childish, but I know I will NEVER grow up... I'll just be an adult when it's needed!

Thank you to you all for your beautiful comments they are really apreciated! (My Ego apreciates them ever so much...:D)
