Welcome to Hautes-Pyrénées

Well, the move went smoothe enough, and eventually I am back online. The boxes are unpacked and my husband is happy. The dog is outside pestering the mules, and I am enjoying the peace in the house, with rock ‘n roll playing in the background. I have a lot of stories to tell, but first of all I’ll keep my promise. Today we had a family trip up the mountains. The views are absolutely incredible and first time I didn’t forget to take the camera with me. After we went down the mountain we went to have a quick look in the nearby town Arreau. The result is in the photographs, and just for the record: when we came home we had a chocolate éclair each. La vie est belle.
