Where have I been?

The last two days I spent in a car, in France. My husband was the driver and I was the navigator. We didn’t get lost once. We got to the destination in 12 hours after speeding at 160km/h. We were in Rebouc. Little village near Heches, next to Lannemezan, 40 km from Tardes in Hautes Pyrenees.
Here comes the nice bit. We went there to view a gorgeous big house on the slope of a huge mountain. The house is on a great big peace of land enough to wear even my boxer out. The doers and does come round and eat the grass in the garden, and the neighbor in front has two fabulous horses! We are going to move there any time soon, hopefully after the 1st of February. Do you remember (if there is anyone to remember) how I dreamt about a big house and even bigger garden? Now I have it! We paid for it, got the receipt and the key. Once we return we are going to sign the contract for a year and live happily ever after.
The best bit: The air is so fresh and crisp in there, you feel like swallowing a lump. It’s so peaceful you can hear a pin drop, and I will have my OWN workroom, where I can write my future bestsellers.
So yes I am very happy, very excited. I already finished packing all the boxes and I’m ready to go. We were looking for better quality of life and we got it. We are going to eat local cheese, and drink local wine. Speak French and go to market on Sundays. And if you want to ask me if I have that quick spreading disease: “let’s move to France”. Yes – my husband contaminated me, and in a way no – I already lived in France before.I’m sure I will enjoy my life anywhere. It is my problem to make it work, so wish me good luck!
